The current rank score is the sum of this formula for each event: (N − R + 1) × D where:
- N = total number of teams competing in the event
- R = team’s finishing position (1 = first place)
- D = event difficulty (puzzle difficulty + event duration + physical ability)
i.e.
if you were 1st out of 10 teams in a 5-2-2 difficulty event, you get (10 - 1 + 1) * (5+2+2) or 90 points.
if you were 6th out of 10 teams in a 5-2-2 difficulty event, you get (10 - 6 + 1) * (5+2+2) or 45 points.
if you were 10th out of 10 teams in a 5-2-2 difficulty event, you get (10 - 10 + 1) * (5+2+2) or 9 points.
